Electric Bike
The electric bike is an idea that is still developing, and still making its way into mainstream consciousness. It has been fairly well document that the development of the electric car has struggled over the years, partially due to competing economic interests, but also because of engineering issues. Specifically, it is a struggle to develop the battery power necessary to propel a vehicle that isn’t too heavy.
An electric bike, however, requires a battery that is far more lightweight. Therefore, it is potentially an idea that could work well. First of all, the bike is much smaller than a car, of course, and does not need to go as fast. In some ways, this makes the bike ripe for an electric upgrade.And indeed there are actually a number of different electric bike designs in existence. The benefits of the electric bike include noise reduction, which can be really important especially for mountain bikers looking to enjoy the scenic nature around them. Gas-powered engines are also available, but electric engines eliminate exhaust emissions and greatly reduce the noise for which gas-powered dirt bikes are sometimes known.
